This site exists to provide literacy resources and services to students, parents and teachers at BCS to support the provision of a quality, Christ-centered education to our students.

Each student, parent and staff member is uniquely designed by our Creator God with their own unique set of gifts and abilities to contribute as we work together to live out the mission God has given us.

Mrs. Charmaine Kosten
Charmaine Kosten is a certified as K-8 teacher in Michigan with Reading Specialist and Spanish Langauge endorsements. She is employed at Borculo Christian School as a Response to Intervention Specialist. Mrs. Kosten received a B.A. in Spanish with a minor in Elementary Education from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. She also received an M.A. in Reading from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Michigan. In addition to her current position, Mrs. Kosten also has experience teaching Spanish to students from 1st grade through 12th grades, as well as middle school Science and English. Mrs. Kosten lives in Zeeland, Michigan with her husband, daughter, son, two cats and a very large Great Dane.
