How to use aimsweb Lexile Measures

Each May we conduct aimswebPlus assessments to check in with how each or our Kindergarten through 8th grade students is progressing in the core subjects of reading and math. One of the great benefits of these assessments is that they provide us with Lexile Measures for our Kindergarten through 4th Grade students. Lexile measures are great tools for helping match students to right fit books. Right fit books keep our students challenged to grow as readers while enabling them to comprehend text and experience success without frustration. If your children are in Kindergarten through 4th grade at BCS you are welcome to ask your children's teachers for their most recent Lexile Measure.
